FTSE 100

The FTSE 100 is one of the major Stock indexes in the UK. It is calculated on the basis of stock prices of the 100 largest companies by market capitalization listed on the London Stock Exchange.
It has been published since January 3rd, 1984.

The national UK stock index, FTSE 100, depends on the general growth of the national economy and the potential of the local companies.
