Petrobras (Petroleo Brasileiro S.A.) is the largest Brazilian state-controlled oil and gas company. It is a multi-purpose concern which explores, produces, transports, refines and sells oil, oil products, natural gas and other hydrocarbons. It also produces biofuel and mineral fertilizers; it generates, transports and sells electric power.
