The Netherlands 25 is a major index Stock indexin the Netherlands. It includes shares of the largest public companies in the country trading on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange. Though the name of the index points to the fact that it includes 25 components, its quantity is variable and can change – if one component of the index is excluded, it doesn’t get replaced by another up to the date of the next revision.
It has been published since January 1st, 1983 from the base value of 100.

Being the national Netherlands stock index, Netherlands 25, it depends on the general growth of the national economy and the potential of the local companies.
