DAX lifts in early trading
The European stock markets have been open for around 25 minutes now and it has been a positive start to the day. The DAX shot higher on the opening and very quickly pushed above 18,525. So, whilst not setting any new records yet, the price action suggests the market is still gunning to do that. That said, it is yet to play out and there is no guarantee that it will. The dollar is still on the front foot, especially versus the Yen, as the USD/JPY pushes to a new session high above 155.80 a short while ago. The DAX is just now trading at 18,522
