DAX continues to forge ahead as it sets fresh records near 18,700
Since the last update here noted the rise to a new all time high in the DAX, breaking above its previous record, at 18,567, the index has not looked back. That was very much in keeping with that was said here about the move and reversal of the prior correction now extending the upside. The index has just now lifted to set a fresh record close to 18,700. It seems to be backing off a bit now though, but that is relative to just how far it has moved today and this week for that matter. Nothing goes in a straight line most of the time and there will always be peaks and troughs
