US stock futures edge lower as Dollar lifts off lows - EUR/USD steps back

Earlier this morning the dollar fell back and that saw the EUR/USD bounce back as high as 1.1446. It has since fallen back to 1.1420 and that has come as the US equity futures step back from an earlier rebound. That had seen the Dow Jones price a higher opening after it had priced that as low as 52,385. The rebound saw the index price the opening as high as 52,715, but for the past couple of hours it has been leaking lower again.

So, as the US opening draws closer now and in less than an hour from now, the scene is not so positive. The dollar has bounced off the earlier reported low, at 100.79. We said earlier the index was on the rebound, but at that stage not back above the 101 handle. That is still the case, but is has come closer to that level now. The EUR/USD is right now at 1.1425
