Early session tech rotation helps Dow Jones rise
The previous update we noted the lower start for the Nasdaq 100 this afternoon. Meantime, the Dow Jones did open modestly higher, at 52,676. The index had closed on Friday, at 52,637. The immediate price action has seen the index rise and that has taken it to 52,804 so far. That is in contrast to the immediate price action in the Nasdaq 100. The conclusion is obvious- immediate rotation out of tech once again. Of course this may not last and we could see it chop and change as the day unfolds. However, for the time being it is the Dow that is on top. The index is coming off the high, currently trading at 52,745
