US producer prices exceeded forecast
In July, US PPI rose by 0.8% year-on-year. Analysts were expecting a more modest growth of 0.7%. The June indicator was reassessed from 0.1% to 0.2%. Excluding food and gas, prices have risen by 2.4%, exceeding the forecast. These data support the dollar.
