Capital inflow buoy S&P500

Falling US Treasury bonds yields enabled the S&P 500 to rise almost 2.5% last week. Furthermore, according to the latest data from Bloomberg, major investment funds have been recording net capital inflows for the last 60 days. Since the start of the year, $169 billion have entered the stock market. Strategists at Barclays note that net capital inflows into the US stock market could push the S&P 500 higher.
