

Bank of Japan keeps its monetary policy dovish
On Friday, the Bank of Japan kept its key interest rate at -0.10% and didn't make any other changes to its current ultra-dovish monetary policy. In his comments, the bank's governor, Kazuo Ueda, noted that the regulator doesn't have a target level for the yen and that he is not worried about the prospects for its devaluation. The yen is under pressure.
