Yields rise again and so does oil- check out Gold now

This morning Treasury yields are rising across the board. We look at the 10 year notes on that and see that the UK yield has touched 5.28% this morning and the US equivalent has reached 4.85%. Both rises come as Brent does vault the $102 per barrel handle and rise close to $102.20 a few moments ago. Both of those moves have once again impacted Gold.

Earlier the metal was trying to make further headway above $4.415, but it has now taken a hit and fallen below $4,395 a short while ago. The downside level we noted earlier, at $4,375 and that could come back on the radar if the moves in Oil and yields extend further. Gold is right now at $4,396.75
