Nasdaq 100 hands back opening gains in a hurry
The Nasdaq 100 opened today at 28,446 and rose immediately to 28,606. However, since then it has been a very steep sell-off and the index has just now dumped to 28,166. That is quite some change and we do not have any clear reason to explain it other than to suggest it may have something to do with month-end re-balancing and profit-taking. The index is right now at 28,185
