Dow Jones turns red as 52k comes int the crosshairs

The Dow Jones opened this afternoon at 52,235 and traded as high as 52,477. Well that was some 30 minutes ago and since then, just like the Nasdaq 100, the Dow has taken a dive and fallen towards 52k. The reason for there fall seems as it is with the Nasdaq 100 and we can perhaps blame the month end for that, but also we should note that US yields are rising in the long end and that has seen the 30 year note yield rise above 5.25% as more Fed voters sound hawkish across the wires this afternoon. The Dow Jones has fallen as low as 52,014 so far. It is right now at 52,040
