An Important note about Quick news updates later next week as EUR/USD edges lower

Owing to a planned absence next week there will be no updates from this analyst on Thursday and Friday, which is not ideal because that means will not be on hand to cover the US monthly jobs report. Nevertheless, we shall do our best to cover all the angles on that beforehand.

Meantime, the EUR/USD is edging back down again this morning, having lifted from 1.1637 yesterday afternoon. The rebound led the Euro back to exactly 1.1660, but it fell back into the spot month-end London fix. So, no large dollar sell orders it seems. The EUR/USD later closed in the US last night at 1.1653.

Earlier today it peaked at 1.1655 and has drifted a little lower since. The price action is pretty jammed-up folks and not exhilarating at all. Look, it has been that way for a while now, but we make the most of what we can and adapt accordingly. That means small bites and tight trading. The 200 day moving average is still rising gradually and still guarding the downside and in place today at 1.1634.

All the while that remains the case, the overall trend is positive, albeit snail-like in terms of progression. The low seen a moment ago was set at 1.1642. The EUR/USD is right now at 1.1644
