The DAX was the worst performing major European stock market index yesterday. We will shortly the fate of the FTSE 100 this morning, which closed 0.57% lower. The DAX handed back 0.84%. The index closed at its lowest level of the day, at 25,361.15.
That was a loss of 215 points on the session and given how much oil prices surged yesterday afternoon it is a wonder it did not close even lower than that. Well, as we just noted in the previous update, when looking at Gold, the DAX futures have rebounded a bit this morning, Earlier the index was priced to reopen as low as 25,300. It is currently priced to reopen around 25,405, but that call is likely to chop and change a good deal before live trading resumes in just over an hour from now
