DAX futures in the red this morning

The DAX was the best performing major European stock market yesterday, pipping the FTSE 100 to the finishing post. The DAX gained 0.43% and the FTSE rose 0.36%. The DAX reached an intraday high at 19,468 and later closed 82 points higher, at 19,405. However, the opening outlook this morning is not so positive right now. Although Germany has not been named as a potential candidate for Trump sanctions, there is a risk for Europe as a whole at some point and that has rather unnerved the DAX futures this morning. So, at one point earlier today, the index was priced to reopen below 19,225. It is not so much in the red just now, but it is currently priced to reopen below 19,300 a little later this morning
