US stock markets reopen and it was as we thought- Dow Jones sets new records above 52k
The US stock markets have just this minute reopened for the second live trading session of the week and it has indeed been a positive start to the day for the Dow Jones. In the penultimate update we noted clear signs of rotation across the Dow and the Nasdaq 100 and that has indeed been transposed into the opening price action of the two indexes.
The Dow Jones has power above 51,900 in early trading and just this minute set fresh records above 52k. Meantime, the Nasdaq 100 has fallen back and it has traded lower and towards 30,400.
