Rotation favours the Dow Jones in the first hour of live trading
It was another mixed start to the day across the US stock markets and one where there was immediate rotation out of tech and in favour of the Dow Jones. So, the Nasdaq 100 opened lower and has remained in the red since. Conversely the Dow Jones opened higher, kicking off the new session at 52,924, but that was the high of the day so far. So, despite outperforming the Nasdaq 100 it has traded in the red too, hitting a session low, at 52,610. The index had closed last night at 52,658. However, the Dow is on the rebound again now, currently trading at 52,715
