Not so hot on the opening- check out the Nasdaq 100

The Nasdaq 100 closed last night at 28,454, as we reported earlier today. Since then we had the good Q2 earnings from Intel (INTC) which initially buoyed the opening outlook for this afternoon and a lower oil price helped too. However, in more recent trading the Nasdaq 100 futures were coming under pressure. Prior to that this morning the index was priced to open as high as 28,615. News from Honeywell; that they plan to cut their dividend by 41.2% did not help the opening outlook just now.

So, the Nasdaq 100 has just this minute officially reopened lower, at 28,362. It is going to be another lively session by the looks of things this side of the weekend. The Nasdaq 100 has traded as low as 28,345 so far. It is right now at 28,380
