Nasdaq 100 continues to outperform in early live trade
In the previous update we covered the opening price action in the Dow Jones and prior to that we looked at the gains ahead of the opening in the Nasdaq 100 futures. Well, the tech heady index officially reopened this afternoon at 29,486, up from a close last night, at 29,252. The price actin in the first 15 minutes of live trading has been positive and the index has lifted as high as 29,669 as we write.
That endorses all that we said much earlier this morning and yesterday, regarding the tech index being a potential haven away from geopolitical risk. The push higher in the Nasdaq 100 is helping to propel the S+P 500 further above the 7,500 handle.
