EUR/USD still holding 1.15 this evening even as dollar rebounds following strong ISM report

We said earlier today that we would report back some time after 4pm GMT and here is a brief synopsis of the action earlier. The ISM manufacturing index was pretty strong and on all counts too. That news did initially lift the dollar and the EUR/USD lost traction. It has since fallen to test the 1.15 handle again and is not much above that level as we write.

Despite that, the USD/JPY did take a hit earlier this afternoon and fell back to around 156.25, but over the past couple of hours it has since reclaimed the 157 handle again. However, for the time being there seems to be some selling interest in place just above that level. The price action in the USD/JPY remains extremely jittery too and likely to remain that way for the time being. The EUR/USD is right now at 1.1506
