DAX extends on the downside in the first hour of live trade
Earlier this morning we said the DAX faced an uncertain opening and that has indeed been the case. The index officially reopened this morning at 25,018 and peaked very early, at 25,021. The price action since has all been on the downside and it has now taken out some recent interim lows.
The index has just now fallen below the 24,850 marker and it is just about the worst performing major European index so far this morning, but the likes of the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 are also in the red and pretty much matching downside strides in percentage terms. The DAX is right now at 24,865
