DAX continues to lose ground as Oil rises further

As the US stock market losses broaden somewhat and the Nasdaq 100 now turns negative, forcing the S+P 500 lower with it, we note how the European markets have been faring and it is not good. The FTSE 100 has fallen further and now traded below 10,675 and the DAX is close to session lows too.

The index has now fallen close to 25,500 and that means it is getting on for 500 points in the red today, given where it closed yesterday, at 26,007. Once again we point to the oil markets as providing further pressure, because Brent crude is just now hitting fresh session highs around $101.45. The DAX is right now at 25,525
