Earlier today an update noted how Brent crude for October delivery had repeatedly failed to make a move above $68 per barrel. Well, subsequent to that update, Brent crude has now risen above $68, peaking so far at just above $68.20. There has been no news based catalyst for the move and it could just be that system buyers have jumped in on the break above $68.00. The question as to whether it will extend further remains open. Brent crude for October delivery is just now trading at $68.15
