SAP SE

SAP SE is a German software developer which produces automated HRM, production management, trade management and accounting management systems. Aside from developing the software solutions themselves, the company also provides installation and configuration support services for its products.

It was founded in 1972 in Weinheim (Germany) by five IBM employees. The company opened its first office in Manheim, later moving its headquarters to Waldorf in 1977, where it remains today.

The company currently has R&D centres in 13 different countries and employees around 96,000 people worldwide.
Its shares are listed on the DAX and EURO STOXX 50 indices.

and its market capitalisation stands at 120 billion euros (as at April 2019). In 2018, it posted a net profit of 4.1 billion euros.
