VINCI SA

Vinci S.A. is a French construction firm. Until the year 2000, the company was called Société Générale d’Entreprises S.A. The company's shares are publicly traded on the Euronext Paris exchange and are weighted in the calculation of the CAC 40.
VINCI is a major player in the global concession and construction market and employs more than 211,000 people across 100 different countries. The company designs, finances, builds and operates various types of infrastructure and other projects (road, energy, air/water transport, social). Vinci operates 35 airports worldwide, including in France, Portugal, Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Chile and Japan.

At 43.5 billion euros, the company has the biggest turnover of any construction company. In kilometer terms, no other company in Europe owns more motorway under concession than VINCI (4,400 km).

The company has its headquarters in Paris (France) and its CEO
and President is Xavier Huillard.

Fitch Ratings gave VINCI SA an "A-" long-term issuer rating (2018) with positive outlook.
S&P Global Ratings affirmed VINCI's "A-" long-term issuer rating (2018) with a positive outlook.
Meanwhile, Moody's gave the company an "A3" long-term issuer rating (2017) with a stable outlook.

In 2018, the company's shares fell by 15.5%. From 2015 to 2017, VINCI's share price exhibited stable growth at an average annual rate of 23.7%, registering its largest increase in 2017 (31.6%). Their 2018 peak was 89.66 euro per share, while the lowest unit share price recorded for the same year was 69.98 euros.

Earnings
VINCI Group's 2018 results indicate that its revenue grew by more than 8% to reach 43.5 billion euros, while its net profit also increased by 8.6% to 2.98 billion euros. Meanwhile, the company's earnings per share totaled 5.32 euros and it recorded net liabilities of 15.5 billion euros.
