The BMW Company (abbreviation for Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) is a producer of cars, motorcycles, engines and bicycles. The company was founded in October, 1916 and officially registered in July, 1917. The main production facilities of the company are concentrated in Germany (Dingolfing, Regensburg, Leipzig and Munich).
