Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.01% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 2.01% or 1880 points to trade at 95470 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TA:HARL) added 1.95% or 53 points to end at 2766 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 1.65% or 250 points to 15380 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL), which fell 2.08% or 44 points to trade at 2070 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 2.02% or 590 points to end at 28680 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) was down 1.30% or 5.0 points to 380.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 191 to 189 and 36 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.61% or 0.42 to $68.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 7.60 to trade at $1215.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.04% to 3.7076, while EUR/ILS rose 0.05% to 4.2842.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 95.19.
