Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.27%

Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil&Gas sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 6.44% or 542 points to trade at 8954 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 5.59% or 445 points to end at 8400 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.80% or 6.3 points to 356.3 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 24.42% or 105.0 points to trade at 325.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.48% or 11.3 points to end at 443.7 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.97% or 5.6 points to 569.8.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 57 to 57 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 24.42% or 105.0 to 325.0.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.30% or 0.21 to $69.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.92% or 0.68 to hit $74.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1220.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.4290, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4525.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 95.00.
