Crude oil futures lower in U.S. trading hours

Crude oil futures were lower in U.S. trading hours on Wednesday.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD67.82 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.37%.

It earlier traded at a session low USD67.33 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD67.33 and resistance at USD70.43.

US Dollar Index Futures, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.15% to trade at USD94.47.

Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for October delivery fell 2.30% to trade at USD72.50 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts standing at USD4.68 a barrel.
