Wall Street slips as CPI beats forecasts -check out the Dow Jones futures

The higher than forecast US CPI report has not only pushed the dollar higher, it has also dented the opening outlook for the US stock markets. The Dow Jones futures have slipped back on this news. However, the moves to the downside are now being pared somewhat, as the dollar also comes back from its immediate gains. That said, the outlook for the US stock market opening is certainly a bit more uncertain now following this data release. The Dow Jones is currently priced to reopen at around 37,680. That was below 37,600 immediate as the CPI data hit the screens
