USD/JPY rebound extends close to 150.50 once more
Yesterday the USD/JPY came under pressure ahead of the 4pm London fix. That saw the US dollar fall to a low at 149.21 right as the clock struck 4pm here in London. However, no sooner that was out of the way, the dollar rebounded sharply and pushed all the way back above 150. The monthly close was later set at 149.98. The dollar has advanced further today and came close to rising back above 150.50 a little earlier this morning. It has just backed off though, from a session high at 150.48. The further rebound comes even as US yields remain pretty much where they were yesterday afternoon. The USD/JPY is currently trading at 150.37
