USD/JPY pushes to session high as US stocks remain under pressure

The dollar is just now pressing to session highs. The USD/JPY is pushing back above 144.25 once more, as the US stock markets remain under pressure, led by losses in the Dow Jones. The EUR/USD has just hit a session low at 1.0922. The Dow Jones is now testing levels below 37,400, but the Nasdaq 100 is performing the best of the three major US indexes, whilst still trading in the red this afternoon. The rebound in the USD/JPY has now lifted to a fresh session high, rising just above 144.35 and it is that pair which is once again leading the gains for the dollar. The gain in the USD/JPY has also sent gold lower again after what looks like another false break above its 21 day moving average earlier this afternoon. The USD/JPY is currently trading at 144.30
