USD/JPY near session highs as BOJ Ueda talks

The Bank of Japan governor, Kazuo Ueda is on the news wires speaking right now and he has yet to offer any comments on the Yen, but the prospect of that is very much on the markets radar right now. As Ueda starts talking the USD/JPY is pushing to fresh session highs above 155.40. It remains to be seen if he will talk about the currency. Please be aware that he might be about to jawbone on the USD/JPY again and if he does the markets may take notice. We shall just have to see on that. Meantime, the USD/JPY is currently trading at 155.42
