USD/JPY lifts above 144.49 as GBP/JPY reclaims 193
The noted push higher in the USD/JPY this morning has now extended and the dollar has surpassed the high seen last week, at 144.49. The move higher has carried the dollar towards 144.65 and looks like it might have tripped some stops through 144.49, or at the least encouraged system buyers to jump on board through the break. At the same time, given the elevation in the GBP/USD, this move has delivered a move back above 193 in the GBP/JPY and we have seen trading above that level for quite a while now. The USD/JPY is currently trading at 144.60
