USD/JPY hits another session high as US yields advance again

The US stock markets have been open  for around 30 minutes and the opening gains are dissipating somewhat. That could be due to the fact that US yields are rising again. The 10 year Treasury note is now around 4.57% and that has pushed the USD/JPY to fresh session highs above 157.30. That in turn has added some fresh pressure onto the EUR/USD and the GBP/USD. The further gains in the USD/JPY coupled with those higher yields have sent gold back towards $2,590 per ounce. The USD/JPY is right now at 157.30
