USD/JPY falls back towards 2025 low as volatility remains on high
The USD/JPY has just now fallen back closer to the 148 handle again. At the time of the previous update this morning, the dollar was above 149. Well, it has just now dropped to a fresh session low around 148.25 and that means it is once again close to the 2025 low it set on Tuesday, at 148.10. That level is clearly on the radar again now. The move lower in the USD/JPY has taken the major Yen crosses lower with it and also belied a modest move backwards in gold at the same time. What is clear folks; volatility remains elevated and hence the price action is sporadic and fluid and likely to remain that way as the day unfolds. The USD/JPY is right now at 148.35
