The dollar is making some headway now, reversing earlier Asian lows and actually higher against some majors, than it was as of the US close last night. Once again it looks like the USD/JPY is leading the way. That has just now lifted, to set a fresh session high above 147.60 and so it is also above where it closed in the US last night, at 147.48. The move higher in the USD/JPY is exercising pressure on the GBP/USD, as that now hits a session low close to 1.2675. The EUR/USD is close to session lows again right now, endorsing what I noted in the previous update. The rebound in the USD/JPY is also pushing gold back down and that is now slipping to session lows near $2,035. The USD/JPY is currently trading at 147.63
