USD/JPY edging lower again as risk dynamics look shaky

The USD/JPY is just now edging lower. A good deal of that move seems linked to the EUR/JPY jus now falling back at the same time. The GBP/JPY is in that mix right now too and all of this seems to stem from an immediate deterioration in the overall risk dynamic and rather bleak opening outlook for European stocks this morning. The DAX futures have just been slapped lower again as this update is typed and that is causing some flow back to the Japanese currency. Yesterday, as reported here, the USD/JPY avoided a fall below the 150 handle and later closed in the US at 150.57. However, so far today the dollar has not made much headway beyond that close. The high seen earlier was set at 150.62. The USD/JPY is right now at 150.33
