USD/JPY drops towards 150 again as risk aversion mounts

Since the last update here on the USD/JPY, the dollar has fallen further as the Yen wins cac ground as a haven this afternoon. However, the dollar more generally is under pressure, as noted in the past couple of updates. That has now transposed into a fall below the previous intraday low at 150.36. As you can see, momentum through that level has sent the dollar back close to the 150 handle again. That is still capping the downside, as indeed it has since Tuesday. However, it we look at a chart of the price action since then it is clear there is a risk that the dollar might fall below 150 now, given the recent interim lows seen on Wednesday and Thursday. As to whether it does remains to be seen. The USD/JPY is right now at 150.02
