USD/CHF pushing above 0.9000 again and here is the next level to note

The move higher in the USD/CHF started by the aggressive rate cut from the SNB last week has not looked back. The dollar reached a high last week at 0.9022. However, since that high on December 18 the price action has given way to a low at 0.8914 on Friday. That low was delivered by the latest US PCE data, but since then the dollar has been on the rebound again. Whilst it did not manage a daily close above the 0.9000 handle last night it is higher this morning. The USD/CHF closed in the US last night at 0.8990. The range seen so far today has been covered by 0.8985 to 0.9012 and it is close to that session high as this update is typed. Naturally, that prior 0.9022 high is very much in focus again today. The prognosis for further upside has been touted here and that remains unchanged. That 0.9022 high is just below a technical level mentioned here before and that remains at 0.9024. So, that is the level to be mindful of again this morning. The downside level of note is that prior low, at 0.8914. The USD/CHF is currently trading at 0.9007
