USD/CAD rises above 1.4400 for the first time since 2020

The surging dollar has now delivered gains for the US currency against all of its G10 counterparts. The USD/CHF has now punched its way above a resistance level, at 0.8979 and it is right now eyeing the 0.90 handle. The EUR/USD is falling ever closer to the 1.0335 low set on November 22. The GBP/USD is right now testing the 1.26 handle and the USD/CAD has jumped above the 1.44 handle for the first time since Q1, 2020. The high seen back that year was set at 1.4668 on March 19, 2020.
