USD/CAD has a very close look at 1.40
The price action across the USD/CAD over the past few days has been tricky to say the least. The break above 1.3959 did not initially lift much at all. In fact the USD/CAD stalled ahead of 1.3970 and fell back towards 1.3925. However, it has pushed higher today and just now it had a very close look at the 1.40 handle for the first time this year. In fact for the first time since May 2020. The high print just now was set at 1.3999. Look, 1.40 is clearly a major level and one that might easily be cracked at the first attempt. We shall have to see on that, but the break above the 1.3959 level has at least now been endorsed with some further upside. The USD/CAD is currently trading at 1.3993
