US stocks turn lower after data disappoints-S+P 500 remains in the red

Following on from the previous update noting the miss on the ISM and JOLTS numbers, the US stock markets all turned lower again. The Dow Jones has just now fallen to fresh session lows and so as the S+P 500. The Nasdaq 100, which had turned positive before all this data arrived has now slipped back into the red. This data was not good, because as stated it smacks of lower growth and rising prices and for trade tariffs are only likely to excabearate that. I would expect more calls later today for the increased chance of the US heading into a recession following these releases. The S+P 500 is right now at 5,570 having reopened today at 5,597 and traded back to around 5,607 in very early trading
