US stocks stutter in early trading- Dow Jones falls below 37,400
The US stock markets have now reopened for live trade and it was a lower opening for the major indexes. The Dow Jones was unable to make further progress and just now it has fallen below 37,400. Now some might be thinking this does not make sense given the US data this afternoon, but I guess we have to remember where we are right now and at close to all time highs in the grand scheme of things. That said the price action out there across all the main US indexes sure is frantic in early trade and comes amid some hefty block trades I just heard going through the US treasury markets on the buy side. Perhaps, in reference to that, it is also wise to remember; that size is never a guarantee of directional accuracy. The Dow Jones is currently trading at 37,395
