US stocks set for a higher opening shortly-check out the Dow Jones futures
The Dow Jones was the worst performing major US stock market index on Friday, as it was once again eclipsed by the Nasdaq 100 and the tech sector. So, the Dow posted a rather tepid higher close, of just 0.17%. The index ended the week with a gain of 67 points, at 39,375. However, following gains here in Europe and a steady risk dynamic, the Dow Jones futures have been rising steadily over the past couple of hours. So, right now the index is priced to opoen shortly at around 39,460
