US stocks recover worst losses into the close- Nasdaq 100 holds 15k

Yesterday the US stock markets came under pressure and that saw the Nasdaq 100 fall to as low as 15,069 at one stage. The index had already opened lower earlier in the day. However, a rally from around the time of the 4pm London FX fix kicked in and that saw the index rise back to as high as 15,220. However, it was not able to hold all of that rebound and later closed at 15,191, with a loss of just 34 points on the session. It was a similar story for the Dow Jones and the S+P 500 in terms of price action. The Asian markets are lower today though and that has helped to push the US futures back down. The losses are not huge, but all three US futures are in the red ahead of the European opening. The Nasdaq 100 futures are just now pricing a reopening at around 15,160
