US stocks rebound on the opening- Nasdaq 100 lifts back above 20,300

The earlier downside across the US futures has been pared back into the opening just now. So, all three indexes did not open as low as was previously indicated. The Dow Jones is trying to make headway into positive territory in the first couple of minutes of live trade, but almost immediately that has not lasted. The Nasdaq 100 did not reopen below 20,200. In fact it just now resumed live trade at 20,280, which granted was a lower start, but certainly not as low as it might have been. The index has traded as high as 20,324, matching the close on Friday. It is just now trading at 20,305 as the markets await the only US economic release of the day at 2pm GMT- the latest leading index
