US stocks open in the red as Dow Jones underperforms in early trade

The US stock markets have just now reopened for the final session of the week and it has been a lower start to the day. That was baked in ahead of the opening, owing to the drop back in the US futures beforehand. The early moves have seen the Dow Jones underperform the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500, but of course we know just how quickly that can change. The price action is certainly more volatile than seen in the futures earlier. In fact as I write, the Dow Jones is bouncing from an immediate low at 39,288.
