US stocks open lower but not as low as it might have been-check out the Dow Jones now

The US stock markets have just reopened and of course it has been a lower start to the day, but it was always going to be that way after Trump unleashed it salvo to tariff angst on Apple and the EU earlier this afternoon. At one point today the Dow Jones was priced to reopen below 41,175. Well it has pared that outlook on the opening just now. The index officially kicked off the last session of the week at 41,525 and the low seen since then has only been set at 41,354. Granted that is well below where the index closed last night, but it was looking a lot worse earlier. The Dow Jones is trading right now at 41,495, remembering it closed last night at 41,859.
